Check out our Program Impact Report to learn more about our work!
By the age of 12, children from low-income families have experienced a 6,000-hour learning gap compared to their peers, due mostly to out-of-school factors, such as access to pre-school, after-school, and summer learning programs. This gap puts youth at a disadvantage throughout school and as they prepare for their future.
By providing educational opportunities and hands-on career experiences to middle and high-school youth outside of regular school hours, our programs help to close the learning gap over time, while building our youth’s confidence and skills along the way.
We connect our youth to trusting adult relationships and equitable opportunities by creating an inclusive, welcoming culture in our programs.
We enrich lives by providing our youth with additional learning opportunities that inspire growth and confidence.
We empower our youth by helping each of them realize that they have something extraordinary to give to the world and that they are capable of realizing that promise.

On the Road Collaborative actively strives to create a space of acceptance and intentionally includes people of all identities. We aim to provide fair and equal access to opportunities for all, and equitably allocate resources and support. We prioritize the diversity of people’s strengths, abilities, differences, ideas and experiences, and strive to amplify voices throughout all levels of the organization. We are committed to Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) through ongoing training, education, advocacy, and policy. Our goal is to be an authentic representation of the communities we serve.
