Become a Youth Leader
As a Youth Leader, you gain invaluable experience working with diverse middle or high school youth and have the opportunity to grow as a professional. Our supportive and fun environment is a perfect place to build your skills as an educator and leader while getting to empower the lives of young people in our local community!
Your primary responsibilities as a Youth Leader include:
Manage a class of 12-15 middle or high school youth and facilitate a variety of academic and enrichment learning environments.
Create a safe, positive learning environment that promotes our core values of focused effort, service, perseverance, and courage.
Motivate youth to grow and succeed, which means getting to know each youth, providing encouragement, and serving as a positive role model.
Serve as an academic coach, assisting youth with homework and school assignments, while helping them set and work toward goals.
Partner with volunteers to help deliver quality programming.
Communicate professionally with families, teachers, and community members about the program, and work with them to strengthen support for your youth.
